WalMart Raffle tickets must be sold and turned in on Monday Oct. 31st. Get out there and sell, sell, sell.

The Band Boosters and the Liberty Hill bands participate in many fundraising events throughout the year. your support of these fundraising efforts results in increased opportunities and new equipment for all of our band programs. The Band Boosters sponsor an on-going Paper Recycling fundraiser. The Band Concession Stand is a seasonal fundraiser that provides our students an opportunity to earn community service and leadership credits. Below, you will find information about our on-going fundraisers and any current fundraising events hosted by the Band Boosters or one of the L H Band Programs. The Liberty Hill Band Boosters is a non-profit group and listed as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.

WHY DO WE FUNDRAISE?

Why does any group do fundraising in the first place? Well the obvious answer is “To make some money!” Yes, that is the obvious answer but there is another reason that we don’t always think of. Fundraising also gives your group or organization an opportunity to raise awareness in the community. And that community awareness can mean more bucks in the bank down the road. So keep in mind that your next fundraising event is more than raising money for the band’s trip to the finals. It’s also about making people in the community aware of the band and what they do and how those good folks in town can help sometime.
